*Stretch* First day of school yesterday. Exercised my little fingers by writing a few numbers and a few words in class. It seemed rather alien. Writing. School. Going and in school without him is by far the worst anomaly. That and the dread that I may bump into him and her. Haha, and also try as I might I just cannot stop my eyes from wandering over to the usual lots that he parked. Someone help me control my eyes! Hmm, but that doesn't prevent my thoughts from wondering too. How will he feel if he sees me arriving in school in a 730? Hiyah! Take that. At the very least it stops him from sticking his nose in the air thinking that he's better that the entire world. Okay, I feel a little bad for being so mean.
Had a wonderful night over at Sulin's hall. First time exposure to the hustle and bustle of NUS hall life. It's kind of noisy. And hot. But hey, who's complaining? Great company more than makes up for it. Hehe, I think I'm going to enjoy this semester a lot. And in addition, I got the timetable that I wanted! Managed to pull and hat trick, changed my 5-day week into 4-day with an additional subject. I got a business module Consumer Behavior! Wonder if I'll die, its one of my last chance to prove that marketing is my forte. I'm still not sure man.
After bumming around NUS for the entire day (okay, not really bumming since I was really hard at work designing), we concluded the day with Hip Diner by Billy Bombers at Bugis. Well, that wasn't what I really wanted. Grr. I wanted Seoul Garden. I wanted meat. Lots of it. Haha, for all the brain exercise I went through! Now I can understand how the cavemen felt "Meat! Meat! I want meat!" But someone was feeling fat. Haha, and refused to eat with me! Briefly I entertained the thought of eating separate dinners, but awww, Seoul Garden suddenly didn't feel as appealing anymore. I shouldn't be so transparent, lest that someone knows and exploits my weakness. We were pretty apprehensive about the food (because Billy Bombers isn't reputed for its wonderful food. and the reason we were eating there? one for one promotion! haha.), but surprisingly it turned out quite nice. The service was simply excellent. We ordered medium for the steak, and it turned out a little too bloody for our liking. Mind you, we weren't even making a fuss about it. But without even having to ask, one of the waitresses named June came forward to enquire if the steak was alright. When we mentioned that it's er, slightly too bloody, she immediately sent it back to the kitchen to have it cooked! And by then the large piece of steak was in many many pieces. And when it came back, it was very nicely arranged and cooked to almost perfection. (I grumbled it was a little to well and she said it's just nice) The milkshake that we had? Oreo Mint. Simply heavenly. And after a "feeling" dinner, we sluggishly made our way home.
Not really looking forward to the beginning of the grueling next week. But just before that... remember one of those crazy things I talked about? I'm about to indulge myself in another. Haha, wisdom. Well, I've thought about it. Err, kind of chuck it aside. Nick said he's all for it. Not chucking wisdom aside la, but trying something new, something different. Here goes. Hope it doesn't end up a disaster.
Happy birthday to Siyuan! My cousin. Well, really distant cousin, we're related by marriage only. Haha, we're going to give him a surprise tomorrow night with a present. And I'm tasked with the job of buying the present, so stressful. I'm just going to pop by Tiffany's watch shop tomorrow to look for something nice:) Miss playing badminton. We usually play badminton during the weekends. And now I've found a new kaki! Weiqin! See how we usually play then eat. No wonder I cannot lose weight.
