On the last day of my internship, we had a totally stomach-blowing dinner and dessert!:) Haha, but we worked really hard for the food though. Other than the interns, we had two very special guests from the oldies group to join us- Aris and Gaius! Initially the plan was to go to Stone Grill, but Stone Grill disappeared:/ Then we decided, how about Naive? We went in, sat down, flipped open the menu and ta-da! Found out that it was vegetarian. And the men went "We want meat, we want meat, we want meat!" We silently crept out of the restaurant, of course, that was kind of difficult considering how HUGE our group was and how SMALL the restaurant was. Haha, Aris and I each took a namecard promising that we would definitely return as compensation for our premature exit. Next we thought how about Astons Prime? After walking there, we discovered to our horror that it had relocated to Centrepoint. Feeling more than a little hungry, the two men Gaius and Jankin made beeline for Astons Specialities! There was such a long queue that poor and desperate Gaius went to buy a box of tau kwa pau from the next door foodstall to quell his stomach monsters. And finally we made it in! Look at all the satisfied faces of the starved people:.jpg)

After dinner, the oldies and two other oldies-to-be (after all, Aris remarked that I had the mind of a 25-year-old trapped in a 21-year-old body) went for dessert at Macau cafe along East Coast Road. Check out my yummy dessert:
And I'm sure the rest enjoyed their desserts as well. See George taking such a big mouthful of his dessert:
And Gaius super satisfied face:
We even had time for really deep discussions on topics close to our hearts:
It was such an incredible way to end my internship. For sure, these friendships forged will not end just because my internship has ended. And as if the night wasn't awesome enough, I reached home to find this stuffed secretly into my bag:
Thank you all of you for being such fabulous colleagues and friends. We should definitely do this often. Don't stop okay! I will definitely bring lunch to you guys soon. Pending on the menu:
1. Rendang
2. Cereal Crabstick
3. Sambal Kang Kong
4. Onion Potato
5. Mango Pudding
Hehe, let's meet up again soon:) And of course, over good food!
